Get to know the Foundation
Created in 1941 by Teresa Amatller, the Fundació Institut Amatller d’art Hispànic is a private institution that actively carries out careful cultural, research and teaching work in the field of the history of art.
Patronage
The Board of Trustees of the Fundació Institut Amatller d’Art Hispànic is made up of a total of 9 members, who are highly recognised in the sector of history of art, architectural heritage and the cultural sector.
Their work within the Foundation is of great importance, as they bring a great deal of experience and knowledge within the different areas, while at the same time ensuring the care, maintenance and preservation of the Foundation’s mission, as it was founded more than 75 years ago.
