Photographic Library
A tour of the country’s cultural heritage
Introduction
Made up of more than 360,000 photographic copies from different archives (including the Mas Archive and the Gudiol Archive) and a bank of more than 90,000 digital images.
Designed in 1943 as an indispensable tool for the research and study of history of art, our Photo Library continues to fulfil its original objective, being a meeting point for national and international researchers interested in Hispanic art.
The Photo Library is organised through a dual classification:
- geographical/ topographical (1st floor, 1)
- historical-artistic (2nd floor, 2)
