Introduction

Modernism, architecture and the history of Hispanic art

Welcome to the Fundació Institut Amatller d’art Hispànic.

Situated in one of the main buildings of Catalan modernism and one of the most prestigious history of art research centres in Europe, its artistic and cultural value lies beyond its unique and exceptional façade.

In the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, a visit to the Casa Museu Amatller invites us to make an exceptional journey back in time to the Barcelona of 1900 thanks to the preservation of all its original furniture and decoration in perfect condition.

Your visit allows you to discover all the splendour of Catalan modernism, and offers an exceptional tour of the house’s different artistic collections, including various glass and painting collections.
